Meet Tracy
Tracy Finn is an award-winning artist born and raised in Marblehead, Massachusetts. She has been painting with watercolors and oils for over thirty years, exploring a variety of subjects, and always coming back to her love of sweeping skies and the sea.
While she occasionally paints with a particular place in her head, she more often paints what’s in her imagination, giving her work a universality. You may think, “I’ve been there!” when you look at her work - because we all have. It’s your favorite spot on the beach, just past your grandmother’s house, or the lake you visited over the summer as a child. It’s where you picture yourself when you need a calm moment at the end of the long day, or the warmth and light you need to feel cozy on a winter morning.
Tracy’s years as a children’s art teacher have ensured that she doesn’t take herself, or her work, too seriously. She is a loving mother and grandmother, an excellent gift giver, and is always thinking up the next pun to put on a greeting card.
